You may have a sleep problem, now what?
Your physician will refer you to the Sleep Disorders Center at SSMC for an individualized evaluation by a skilled staff of clinicians, including certified sleep technologists and the region’s only ASDA board certified sleep physician. After a consultation, you will be scheduled for a sleep study involving comprehensive poly-sonographic monitoring that simultaneously records heart rate, brain waves, breathing, oxygenation, and eye and leg movement during sleep.

This non-invasive, painless and comprehensive sleep assessment will provide information essential for diagnosis and recommendations for effective treatment.
