That Special Something – The Patient Navigator

Sound Shore Medical Center has Patient Navigators to add that special something to the hospital experience. Barbara Rohonczy and Norma Trujillo  assist patients and their loved one, whether visiting the emergency department or as an inpatient. These professional staff members offer timely, understandable information, link patients with needed resources, and provide guidance. They act on the patient’s behalf – providing that extra – that special something when its needed most.
